Blender Salsa Recipe

I think I have come pretty close to perfecting this bad boy so I wanted to share it with you guys. I recently upgraded my blender and have been obsessed with making anything and everything I can in it.

This blender salsa is super easy and can be customized based on your tastes. Nick and I love spicy jalapeño and I am a sucker for cilantro so I went pretty heavy on those two.

Here is the base that I use and then customize from there depending on what we are craving!

What you will need:

  • 3 – Tomatoes
  • 1/2 – Red Onion
  • 1 – Jalapeno
  • 2 – Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Cup – Cilantro
  • 2 Tablespoons – Lime Juice
  • Sea Salt
  1. Chop 2 tomatoes, red onion, and garlic and place into a bowl.
  2. Blend together jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, 1 tomato until liquid.
  3. Combine and add sea salt to taste.
  4. Enjoy!

This recipe comes out to be the perfect mixture of chunky and liquid and you can totally customize the consistency and taste yourself. If you want to make straight pico de gallo then you omit the 1 tomato from the blender. If you like it all to be super smooth and liquid then you place everything in the blender and omit 1 tomato. I personally love the pico style, but Nick likes it a little more liquid which is why we added the tomato to the blender mix.

We put it on our own homemade fajitas, ate it with chips, and even took a spoonful mix into our guacamole. It is a total hit for us now and I like it better than any store bought salsa that I have had!
